MEDWAY – If you saw a large police presence on Village Street Sunday night, officers were responding to a reported assault involving a gun. Police say the victim got away when officers arrived, while the suspect barricaded himself inside a home.
A perimeter was established, with Millis Police and a SWAT team brought in to assist. After several hours, the suspect was taken into custody, although police remained at the scene for some time as they continued their investigation. Police have not released an update on the victim’s condition.
