MEDWAY – A bomb threat that led to the evacuation of Medway Middle School Monday has been determined to be a hoax. Medway Police say the threat came into the school around 1:30 PM and claimed a bomb would detonate within 30 minutes.
While police immediately suspected it was fake, the building was evacuated as a precaution. Police have not said whether they know who sent the threat or if anyone has been arrested. Evening activities were allowed to continue on the school grounds.
