By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The local biotech industry could be getting a boost with the non-profit Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives releasing a Regional Biomanufacturing Strategy with the goal of designating Central Massachusetts as a Biomanufacturing Hub. The Tri-County Regional Chamber says the strategy outlines specific programs to allow Central Mass to compete for business and jobs. MBI’s President says with Massachusetts overall already a global leader in biotech, it’s time to “capture the market here in the Central part of the state”.
