There’s been a change of ownership for a piece of land in Grafton being eyed for a UPS distribution center. The developer of the project Prologis has purchased the 200 acre property from UPS which bought it in 2018. The Worcester Business Journal reports the two firms work together often on large logistics sites. The land along Centech Blvd is actually 70% in Grafton and 30% in Shrewsbury. A traffic study done last year indicated the site would add about 5,000 vehicles a day as the facility would handle about 50,000 packages per hour. The project got its final approvals from both towns in December.
