By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Nipmuc Regional High School has been selected for a $5,000 award from T-Mobile to support athletic programs. It’s from T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights campaign focusing on athletics in rural schools. Four-time Patriots Super Bowl Champ Rob Gronkowski has been an ambassador for this campaign, helping to highlight the charm of small-town high school football in various communities. Nipmuc’s Superintendent says the money won’t go to football specifically but rather a use that will benefit the school as a whole.
