MILFORD – A mental health evaluation has been ordered for a Milford man charged with stabbing someone last weekend.
A dangerousness hearing had been scheduled Thursday for 19-year-old Edwyn Sanchez, who police allege stabbed a man he knew during a sale involving a vape. Before that hearing could take place, the judge said he wanted to determine whether Sanchez is competent to stand trial.
The Milford Daily News reports Sanchez has been sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for a mental health evaluation. His next hearing is scheduled for September 28th.
