A Medway police officer has been honored by the Medway School Committee for his work in helping children with exceptional needs. Lieutenant Jeff Watson was honored with the “Light the Spark” Award with the person who nominated him acknowledging him for helping her kids, who are on the Autism spectrum. She says he has helped acclimate the kids to emergency vehicles, and fitted them for GPS watches in case they get lost. And he’s done a lot of work with the Medway Special Education Parent Advisory Council.
