Lake Quinsigamond Tightens Regulations on Jet Ski Use

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – If you want to ride a jet ski on Lake Quinsigamond, you’ll have to toe the line.  At the Lake Commission’s meeting last month, they opted not to ban them outright, but to increase enforcement of the rules. The Community Advocate reports a subcommittee had been looking into several solutions, including an outright jet ski ban, amid numerous complaints from residents about excessive noise and reckless operation. Among the next steps are increasing ramp enforcement and police patrols.
