Hopkinton Selects Consultant to Aid in Deputy Police Chief Search

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A search consultant has been chosen to help Hopkinton find a new deputy police chief.  The Hopkinton Independent reports the Select Board chose consultant PSC to help replace Jay Porter, who is facing sexual assault charges, with the firm saying they could have it done in under three months, less time than other firms that bid. The Select Board next has to find a consultant to search for a new town manager, with Norman Khumalo set to leave the job within the coming months for a new gig in the private sector.
