HOPKINTON – If you saw the fire department activity at the Hopkinton Learning Center Friday, it was because of a fire in the facility’s “Tumblebus.” The former school has been converted into a mobile gymnastics facility.
The bus caught fire around 9 a.m. while parked outside the school. Nobody was on board, but because it was close to the building, teachers evacuated the school. No one was hurt. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
