Hopkinton School Committee Meeting to Fill Vacant Seat

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – There are five candidates for an open seat on the Hopkinton School Committee and the Select Board is set to choose one when they meet on Thursday. The vacancy is due to the resignation of Holly Morand last month after she took a job with Hopkinton Youth & Family Services and to do both would have been considered a conflict of interest. The Hopkinton Independent reports whoever is chosen would only fill the seat until the May Annual Town Election and then would have to run for it if they want to stay on board.
