By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Police Chief is reportedly recommending termination of an officer alleging he knew about a former cop accused of having a sexual relationship with a student before it became publicly known. A letter from the Town Manager to Sergeant Tim Brennan publicly posted on the Town Website as part the January 16 Select Board Agenda indicates it is a hearing to allow Brennan to tell his side of the allegations that he was aware of the actions of former officer Jay Porter but did not report it to the department.
