HOLLISTON – Holliston Police are recognizing the retirement of School Resource Officer Michael Woods, whose final day with the department was last Friday after more than 12½ years of service, including a decade serving in the schools.

Officials say Woods became a trusted mentor and positive presence for students, while also playing a key role in the department’s Junior Police Academy and serving as a member of Holliston’s first Motor Unit. Police say his impact on students, families, and school staff will be felt for years to come.
