GRAFTON – Grafton residents will soon have an opportunity to weigh in on whether the town should establish rules governing public marijuana consumption.
Following a discussion by the Select Board last month, town officials plan to hold public meetings to gather feedback on the possibility of creating a permitting process for certain types of cannabis consumption.
Potential scenarios include allowing marijuana use at licensed dispensaries, at businesses that do not serve alcohol—such as movie theaters—or during outdoor festivals. Any changes would ultimately require approval at Town Meeting.
