By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The former Sonesta hotel complex on Connector Road in Westborough could soon be turned into apartment buildings. At their last meeting the Westborough Planning Board approved a special permit for the developer to renovate it into 85 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom units. The Community Advocate reports that a grant from the town’s Affordable Housing Trust makes it possible to make 25% of the units affordable housing and have the entire project included in Westborough’s Subsidized Housing Index.
