WRENTHAM – Eversource is temporarily halting work on its natural gas system upgrade project along Dedham Street to avoid impacting traffic during the FIFA World Cup events in nearby Foxborough.
The utility says construction will be suspended from June 12th through July 9th in accordance with state requirements intended to keep roads clear for the large crowds expected to attend matches at Gillette Stadium. Eversource reports the project is progressing well and expects work to resume on July 10th, with completion anticipated in early October.
