FRANKLIN – Drivers should prepare for additional lane closures this week as work continues on Franklin’s multi-year Beaver Street Interceptor upgrade.
From Wednesday through Friday, a lane closure will be in place on West Central Street between the 99 Restaurant and BJ’s from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Traffic leaving BJ’s and the Conlyn Avenue area will be detoured onto Forge Parkway to reach West Central Street.
Drivers should also watch for sidewalk work Wednesday that is expected to affect southbound traffic on West Central Street between Burger King and Beaver Street.
The work is part of the ongoing Beaver Street Interceptor project to modernize Franklin’s aging sewer infrastructure.
