By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Middlesex District Attorney has asked the Northwestern District Attorney to look into how a rape victim’s name was made public during a Hopkinton Police Department document disclosure. A DA’s office spokesperson tells the Hopkinton Independent they want no conflict of interest in getting to the bottom of why the name was not redacted when the police department and officials were preparing documents for a hearing for an officer accused of not reporting what the victim told him about the rapes by another cop.
