By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Blackstone’s Town Administrator says the drinking water is safe following a lawsuit filed last week by the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office against Marchand Septic and Environmental for allegedly dumping septic waste, and construction and demolition waste into wetlands at their facility in Blackstone. Chad Lovett says testing done this week shows no contaminants at freshwater wells #6 and #6a near the Marchand property line but he’s ordered testing to be done there once a week until further notice.
