MENDON – A woman who has faced animal cruelty allegations involving several communities has been found guilty of assaulting two Blackstone Valley Regional Animal Control officers.
According to the Mendon Commons, Julia Bonner was sentenced to two years of supervised probation on six charges stemming from an incident involving animal control officers who had seized her dogs.
Court documents reportedly show Bonner’s family is also going through adjudication related to an incident in Oxford involving young goats.
They are also awaiting proceedings involving 19 animal cruelty charges connected to several animals at a property in Mendon. Those allegations remain pending.
