MEDWAY — Medway Parks and Recreation has launched a new MyRec app, giving residents a simpler way to browse programs, register for activities, receive updates and manage their accounts directly from a smartphone.
The new mobile option brings many of the department’s online services into one place. Users can search available programs and activities, register for offerings, reserve facilities, update account information and receive notifications about upcoming events and department updates.
Medway Parks and Recreation says the app is designed to make its services easier to access from anywhere, allowing residents to stay connected without needing to return to a desktop computer each time they want to check a schedule or sign up for a program.
Residents can begin by visiting medwayparksrec.com and signing into their existing account. Android users can follow the on-screen prompt to add the MyRec app, while iPhone users can add the site to their home screen through their browser’s sharing options.
Once installed, the app provides quick access to program registration, activity listings, facility reservations, account management and notifications.
The launch gives residents another way to stay up to date with recreation opportunities throughout Medway and makes it easier for families to find and register for programs directly from their phones.
