Those looking to learn the basics of pickleball still have an opportunity to get on the court this month at Rt. 12 Pickle in West Boylston.
The indoor pickleball facility is hosting a series of Learn to Play sessions throughout September. Each session runs for 90 minutes, with equipment provided, making the program an accessible option for players who are new to the sport.
The cost is $40 per person, and while the first week of the program has already been completed, registration remains open for the remaining September sessions.
Rt. 12 Pickle, located at 184 West Boylston Street in Wachusett Plaza, offers instruction for players who are new to pickleball as well as those looking to improve their skills. The facility encourages beginners to take part in a Learn to Play clinic before jumping into open play.
The West Boylston facility opened in 2024 with eight indoor pickleball courts and offers lessons, clinics, leagues and other events throughout the year.
Registration for the remaining September sessions is available through Rt. 12 Pickle’s website.
