The Hockomock Area YMCA is giving adults an opportunity to learn and improve their pickleball skills through weekly classes held on Monday mornings from 7:30 to 10:15 a.m.
Open to participants ages 18 and older, the classes welcome players of all experience levels, from beginners learning the basics to experienced players looking to sharpen their game. Participants will receive instruction and take part in drills, strategy sessions, and competitive play to help develop their skills on the court.
Pickleball, a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, offers a fun way to stay active, build confidence, and connect with other players in the community.
The program costs $108 for Hockomock Area YMCA members and $216 for nonmembers.
Whether participants are picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to take their game to the next level, the Hockomock Area YMCA’s pickleball classes provide an opportunity to learn, practice, and compete in a welcoming environment.
