NATICK — As the FIFA World Cup enters its knockout stage, Bosse has quickly established itself as one of MetroWest’s premier destinations for soccer fans, transforming its Sports Lounge into a vibrant gathering place where supporters from around the world come together to celebrate the beautiful game.

Located at the Natick Mall, Bosse has welcomed fans representing dozens of countries throughout the tournament, creating an atmosphere that co-founder, COO, and chef Chris Coombs says has exceeded expectations.

“The Summer of Soccer at Bosse Sports Lounge has been really special,” Coombs said. “We’ve seen not just the USA games, but large Brazilian contingencies, Colombians, the French, the Germans, Norwegians—so many excellent groups of people. It really is the premier place to watch a game and have excellent food and drink while you do so.”

The Sports Lounge has become especially popular during Team USA matches, with capacity crowds packing the venue to cheer on the Americans. While weekday afternoon matches offer a more relaxed viewing experience, evening knockout games have transformed Bosse into an energetic soccer festival.

“The last USA game we were at capacity,” Coombs said. “Everyone had a great time. I think I even started the USA chant myself. It’s the closest thing to being at the match for those of us who can’t travel.”

Unlike many major sporting events, Bosse has made its World Cup watch parties completely free to attend. Fans can reserve tables through OpenTable or simply walk in, while large groups are also welcome.

Coombs said Bosse wanted to fill a void in MetroWest by creating a welcoming space dedicated to the world’s biggest sporting event.

“We saw a void in MetroWest,” he explained. “We wanted to create the optimal environment for soccer fans. We decided to offer $5 draft beers throughout the tournament. I didn’t want ticket prices or cover charges. I wanted it to be accessible and open so everyone could enjoy the matches together.”

Beyond the matches themselves, Bosse has become a showcase for the power of sports to unite people from different cultures and backgrounds. One of Coombs’ favorite memories came during a France-Senegal match, when supporters of both nations gathered side-by-side in the Sports Lounge.

“The real word is community,” he said. “We had fans from Senegal and France sharing the space wonderfully. We’ve seen the same thing with Brazil and Haiti. Soccer has really become a uniting force, and it’s been incredible to have a front-row seat to that here at Bosse.”

While the World Cup has taken center stage this summer, Bosse offers far more than just a place to watch sports. Visitors can spend the day enjoying indoor pickleball, golf and soccer simulators, interactive darts, and chef-driven dining, making it a true athletic and entertainment destination for MetroWest.

“We’ve seen people playing soccer and golf on the simulators, indoor pickleball because of the heat, darts during halftime, and many guests stay for an entire day of matches,” Coombs said. “They’re eating multiple meals here, enjoying the activities, and making a day out of it.”

With temperatures climbing into the triple digits this week, Coombs noted that Bosse’s climate-controlled facility has become another draw for guests looking to escape the summer heat while enjoying world-class soccer.

As the tournament narrows toward the championship match, Bosse expects the excitement to continue building with every knockout-round fixture.

“There’s been so much drama and so many surprises,” Coombs said. “People are into it, people are talking about it, and for us it’s really special. We’d love to have everyone come join us for these knockout-round games.”

Bosse is located at 310 Speen Street in Natick, attached to the Natick Mall in the former Neiman Marcus space, with ample covered parking available. The Sports Lounge is open to guests 21 and older, and the full World Cup watch schedule, along with reservations, can be found at Bosse.net.
