SUTTON — Pleasant Valley Country Club recently hosted a benefit golf tournament in support of the Whitin Community Center, bringing golfers and community members together for a day of competition, contests and fundraising.
The tournament was sponsored by UniBank and featured several on-course challenges, including a hole-in-one contest, putting contest and shooting contest.
Golfers also had opportunities to take part in additional contests throughout the event, with prizes and raffles offered during the day.
The tournament included both a community lunch and dinner, giving participants and supporters time to gather off the course as well.
The event served as a fundraiser for the Whitin Community Center while combining golf, friendly competition and community support at Pleasant Valley Country Club.
