Attleboro Norton YMCA Crowns Champions in Men’s Basketball Leagues

ATTLEBORO — Another season of men’s basketball is in the books at the Attleboro Norton YMCA, with champions and individual award winners recognized in both the 18-and-over and 35-and-over leagues.

In the 18+ division, Team North Texas captured its second consecutive league championship, completing a back-to-back title run.

Noam Cook was named Finals MVP for North Texas, while Luke Hinton earned league MVP honors. Ethan Liao was recognized as the 18+ Defensive Player of the Year.

The championship streak was even longer in the 35+ division, where Team Billy Hoyle completed a five-peat, winning the league title for the fifth straight season.

JP Marcellus earned Finals MVP honors, while Josh Didick was named the 35+ league MVP. Mike Pesanello received Defensive Player of the Year honors.

The Attleboro Norton YMCA credited players throughout both leagues for producing a competitive season featuring strong play on both ends of the court.
