HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is bringing everyone’s favorite lovable ogre to the stage this August with a production of Shrek the Musical.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animated film and the hit Broadway musical, the family-friendly production follows Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona, and a cast of beloved fairy tale characters on an adventure filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable songs. Audiences can expect dazzling costumes, colorful sets, and energetic musical numbers in a show that celebrates friendship, love, and embracing what makes each person unique.
Opening night is Friday, August 7th, with the curtain rising at 7:30 PM. Additional performances are scheduled for August 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th.
Organizers encourage theatergoers to purchase tickets early, as performances are expected to sell quickly.
