Milford Regional Medical Center Named Finalist in National Hospital Contest

MILFORD – Milford Regional Medical Center has been named one of 57 finalists in Soliant Health’s 2026 Most Beautiful Hospitals contest, putting the local hospital in the running to be recognized among the 20 most beautiful hospitals in the country.

Public voting opened September 14th and will continue through October 16th. Patients, healthcare professionals and community members can vote for Milford Regional Medical Center throughout the voting period. The hospital receiving the most votes nationwide will also receive a $5,000 donation to its foundation from Soliant.

Milford Regional was nominated for its cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and the kindness and professionalism of its staff. The nomination also highlighted the hospital’s clean and organized environment throughout the facility, including its operating rooms, as well as the efforts of its staff to create a comfortable and supportive setting for patients and healthcare professionals.

Soliant has hosted its Most Beautiful Hospitals contest since 2009, recognizing more than 200 hospitals nationwide. The program celebrates hospitals for their physical environments as well as the healthcare professionals and staff who contribute to the patient experience.

According to Soliant, the 2025 contest received nearly 2.4 million votes from communities supporting hospitals that care for their families and serve their communities.

The Top 20 hospitals will be announced Friday, October 23rd.
