Claflin Hill Youth Symphonies Returning for Fall 2026 Auditions

SHARE NOW

MILFORD – The Claflin Hill Youth Symphonies is officially returning for Fall 2026, with auditions now open for young musicians across MetroWest, Greater Milford, Framingham, and surrounding communities.

Organizers say this relaunch is especially meaningful because it is being led by former CHYS alumni who have gone on to become music educators themselves, helping guide and inspire the next generation of student musicians.

The program is open to string, wind, brass, and percussion students in grades 7 through 12 who have at least one year of private music study. Students selected for the program will have opportunities for high-level ensemble performance, mentorship from professional musicians, and participation in a supportive musical community.

Rehearsals will take place Saturday mornings at the Southborough History & Arts Center, while auditions are scheduled for May 30 and June 6 at Memorial Hall.

Families who register for auditions will also receive free tickets to the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra’s season opening concert this November.

Many alumni describe the program as one of the most impactful experiences of their musical lives, helping them grow both as performers and as individuals.
