WORCESTER – The 2026 Toys for Tots season is underway, with the Worcester County campaign looking to provide holiday gifts to children throughout Central Massachusetts.

Last year, the Worcester County campaign collected and distributed 37,615 toys to 14,898 children. Organizers are hoping to set new records this year by collecting donations for a longer period and expanding distribution efforts.

There are several ways to support the campaign, including donating new, unwrapped toys at authorized collection sites, making a monetary donation, providing equipment such as trailers, pop-up awnings or rental vans, and volunteering to sort toys, prepare the warehouse or assist with deliveries. Businesses and organizations can also register to host events benefiting Toys for Tots.

Families who need assistance can also register to receive toys this holiday season. Registrations will be processed beginning in November, with distribution details to be announced at a later date.

The Worcester County Toys for Tots campaign is coordinated by United States Marines in addition to their regular duties, and organizers say community support is essential to making the program successful.
