MENDON – The Mendon Planning Board will continue discussing a proposal for a new Sav-On gas station and convenience store at the corner of Route 16 and Hartford Avenue West. The Mendon Commons reports the developer also owns the existing Sav-On location on Hartford Avenue East.
The Planning Board plans to revisit the proposal November 16, when a traffic engineer can take another look at the proposed traffic plan. There is also a more than 120-year-old home on the property that is considered historically significant and has gone through a demolition review.
