HOPKINTON – An investigation is underway after an 86-year-old woman who lived at the Golden Pond assisted living facility was found dead inside her apartment on September 30.
Police say the temperature inside the unit was 99 degrees. The facility says the building had switched from air conditioning to heat the day before. Employees reportedly said other residents were also complaining about the heat, and some residents were moved to common areas where fans and air conditioners were available.
