MILFORD – Two local volunteers with Thanks To Yanks gathered along Cedar Street near Route 85 in Milford to mark the 25th anniversary of September 11th and remind passing motorists to remember the heroes and victims of that day.
Neil Reynolds and Judi Dion held signs featuring messages about 9/11 and the American flag as they stood along the roadway.
Thanks To Yanks founder Mike Shain said, “We must never forget the price we pay for our freedom and we can never take it for granted.”
Thanks To Yanks is a non-political 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support military members, veterans and their families. The organization relies on volunteers to help deliver its events and programs supporting the military community.
