WRENTHAM – The King Philip boys’ soccer team will look to build on its first win of the season when it travels to Mansfield tonight for a 6:45 p.m. matchup.
King Philip opened its season with a 1-0 home victory over Bridgewater-Raynham last Thursday. Liam Haddad provided the difference, scoring the lone goal of the match in the 30th minute.
The shutout victory gave the Warriors their first win of the season and some early momentum heading into tonight’s contest.
Now, King Philip will try to carry that momentum on the road and make it two wins in a row when the Warriors take on Mansfield at 6:45 p.m.
After getting on the board in the season opener, King Philip will look to once again find the back of the net while continuing to rely on its defense to keep opponents off the scoreboard.
