HOPEDALE – Hopedale Police Chief Mark Giovanella has completed his final day with the department.
Giovanella began his career with Hopedale Police in 1994 and spent the past 33 years serving the community while rising through the ranks to become Chief.
Although his official retirement is scheduled for February 2027, Thursday marked his final day on duty. For his ceremonial final call, the department brought back former Head Dispatcher Lisa Collins, who recently retired after 26 years with the Town.
