MILFORD/MEDWAY – Another DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day is happening this Saturday, October 24th.
In Milford, you can bring unused or expired medications to the Milford Senior Center from 10 a.m. to noon. In Medway, drop-off will be at Town Hall during the same hours.
The program helps keep medications from being misused and prevents them from entering the water supply. Officials accept pills, liquids and creams, but not sharps. Last spring, the DEA collected more than 23,000 pounds of medication in Massachusetts and more than 642,000 pounds nationwide.
