Registration is still open for the Hockomock Area YMCA’s 2026 Fall Youth Leagues, giving local children a chance to play soccer or flag football this fall.
The season will run from Sept. 17 through Nov. 8, with programs designed for children ranging from age 3 through fifth grade, depending on the sport and location. The YMCA says the leagues are intended to provide a fun and supportive environment where children can build skills and take part in friendly competition.
At the North Attleboro branch, soccer will be played on Sundays for children age 3 through grades 2-3. NFL Flag Football will be offered on Friday nights for Pre-K and kindergarten through grades 3-4.
The Foxboro branch will also offer Sunday soccer for children age 3 through grades 2-3, along with Thursday night NFL Flag Football. Flag football divisions include grades K-2 and grades 3-5.
At the Franklin branch, the fall lineup consists of soccer on Saturdays, with programs available for age 3, Pre-K, grades K-1 and grades 2-3.
Soccer registration costs $88 for members and $119 for non-members, while flag football costs $117 for members and $152 for non-members. Family-member rates are also available. The introductory Leagues Prep program carries separate pricing.
Uniforms will be distributed after the first practice for applicable leagues, while Leagues Prep classes do not include uniforms.
