UXBRIDGE – Roadwork is getting underway on one of Uxbridge’s busiest roadways.
Crews are beginning temporary asphalt shimming and overlay work on South Main Street (Route 122), starting near Harry’s Pizza and continuing south toward the Big Y intersection.
Town officials say the temporary paving is intended to smooth out the roadway’s roughest sections and improve driving conditions until a full reconstruction project can be completed. Drivers should expect lane closures and parking restrictions while the work is underway.
