BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham Senior Center is inviting older adults to stay active, improve their fitness and have fun through its weekly Dance Fitness classes, held every Wednesday for just $5.
Designed for participants of all experience levels, the classes combine easy-to-follow dance routines with aerobic movements to create a full-body workout. The program focuses on strengthening the core and arms while helping participants build strength, endurance, balance and overall fitness in an upbeat, supportive environment. Best of all, no dance experience is required, making it an accessible option for anyone looking to become more active.
Rather than emphasizing choreography or performance, the classes encourage movement, exercise and social connection. Participants can enjoy music, improve their cardiovascular health and meet others in the community while taking part in a low-cost fitness program.
The Wednesday sessions are part of the Bellingham Senior Center’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable wellness opportunities that promote healthy aging. Whether someone is looking to increase their activity level, improve mobility or simply try something new, Dance Fitness offers a welcoming place to get moving.
Classes are held every Wednesday at the Bellingham Senior Center, with a $5 drop-in fee. Residents interested in participating or learning more about additional senior programming can contact the Bellingham Senior Center or visit its official Facebook page for the latest schedule and updates.
