SOUTHBOROUGH – Plans for a new Costco in Southborough continue to move ahead following action by the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
Last week, the board granted the retailer relief from certain zoning requirements related to retaining walls and lighting fixtures for the proposed development on Coslin Drive.
According to the Community Advocate, the project would include both a Costco warehouse store and a Costco gas station. Several approvals, including additional public hearings, are still required before construction can begin. Town officials are hopeful the store could open by next summer.
