MILFORD – Cooler temperatures are expected to arrive just in time for Milford’s Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks on Sunday at Plains Park.
After several days of extreme heat, Sunday’s highs are expected to settle into the upper 80s, providing more comfortable conditions for the community celebration.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with the fireworks display scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Hosted by the Milford Lions Club in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the event will feature food, refreshments, and family-friendly activities. The Lions Club will offer hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, sausages, water, and soda, while New City Microcreamery, Citrus Got Real, and Sweet Inspirations will also be on hand with ice cream, fresh lemonade and limeade, and candy.
