FRANKLIN – The first of two FIFA World Cup Fan Zone watch parties takes place today in Franklin.
The free community event is being held on the Franklin Town Common and adjacent Hayward Manor property, featuring giant-screen match broadcasts, food trucks, a beer garden, live entertainment, family activities, and local vendors.
Today’s Fan Zone runs from 2 PM to 9 PM, with World Cup matches scheduled for 3 PM and 6 PM.
Organizers note that while admission is free, advance registration is required. The Franklin 250th Celebration Committee will also be on-site selling commemorative Franklin 250 merchandise throughout the event.
