MENDON – A wedding photographer from Mendon is recovering after being stabbed while working at a wedding reception in Maine. According to reports, 26-year-old Donald Halsing and his fiancée, Ashley Wall, were taking photos on the dance floor when another man allegedly attacked him.
Authorities say Andrew Manderson, also 26, stabbed Halsing in the chest during the incident. Halsing was rushed to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening and is expected to be released within the next few days. Manderson has been charged with elevated aggravated assault and is being held on $50,000 bond.
