GRAFTON – Grafton voters have approved a $5 million tax override aimed at supporting both town services and schools. The measure passed decisively, with 2,467 voters supporting it and 1,429 voting against.
Town officials say the override is intended to address budget concerns not just this year, but in the years ahead. Voters also approved borrowing for a new roof at Grafton Middle School, while town leaders discussed plans to create a Financial Review Committee to examine future spending trends and cost drivers.
