MILFORD – Milford and several surrounding communities are receiving funding through the state’s SAFE fire safety grant programs. Milford was awarded nearly $10,000 combined from SAFE and Senior SAFE, which support fire safety education for students and older residents.
Nearby towns also received funding, including Bellingham (nearly $11,000), Franklin (nearly $13,000), Millis (around $10,000), and Uxbridge (about $8,000). The grants help provide education in schools, senior centers, and home visits to improve public safety awareness.
