GRAFTON – Town officials in Grafton are exploring different ways to deal with a projected budget shortfall for the next fiscal year.

Leaders say the Fiscal Year 2027 deficit could reach up to $1.4 million, which may force cuts to both school and municipal positions if no action is taken.

According to the Community Advocate, officials are considering presenting voters with multiple override options, allowing them to choose between different funding levels and repayment plans.
