GRAFTON – Grafton officials are taking a closer look at ways to make the town’s roads safer following a fatal motorcycle crash involving an off-duty Massachusetts State Trooper earlier this summer.
The Town Administrator has released an 18-page memorandum outlining potential traffic safety improvements following the June crash. According to the Community Advocate, the document identifies several locations where additional safety measures could be considered.
One of the recommendations is the development of a Local Road Safety Action Plan that could provide a broader strategy for addressing traffic concerns throughout Grafton. The recommendations remain under discussion and have not been adopted as official town policy.
