Franklin’s football season ended in the first round against No. 8 Leominster, but the Panthers still earned notable postseason recognition from the Hockomock League. Franklin finished the regular season 5-3 to claim the No. 9 seed in Division 1, and several leaders were honored for their contributions on both sides of the ball.

Offensive and defensive lineman Keaton Cooper, wide receiver and defensive back Stephon Reed, offensive and defensive lineman Adrian Rampino, and running back and linebacker Alex Weber were all named Hockomock All-Stars. All four served as team captains, and each played a central role throughout the year in Franklin’s physical style of play.

Weber’s impact stood out; he was voted the Hockomock League Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring the Panthers’ defense. Weber excelled at linebacker and provided leadership, instincts, and tackling that helped Franklin limit opponents to just 17.75 points per game this season.

Depth also earned praise. Owen Essam and Elias Lawless were named honorable all-stars, underscoring the program’s contributions beyond the headline names. Coaches credited the honored players’ leadership and consistency for Franklin’s competitive season and suggested those core pieces, plus the team’s depth, will provide the Panthers a platform to build on next fall.
