GRAFTON – Grafton could soon see its first-ever microbrewery, following newly approved plans to redevelop part of a Route 122 retail plaza. This month, the Grafton Planning Board voted to approve a site plan and special permits that would allow a developer to transform the plaza located just west of Worcester Street.
According to the Community Advocate, the proposal calls for a microbrewery-style restaurant operated by Slow Down Brewing Company. While the exterior of the building is expected to remain largely the same, officials say the interior will undergo a significant overhaul to accommodate the new use.
If progress continues on schedule, Grafton could be welcoming its new brewery within the next year.
