MEDWAY – Medway High School senior Gavin Tramontozzi has completed his Eagle Scout project by creating emergency supply collections for classrooms throughout the school.
Tramontozzi says he wanted to help the school be better prepared in the event of a crisis, so he evaluated potential emergency needs and developed a plan to place emergency buckets in every classroom.
He raised about $2,000 and worked with the school to gather additional supplies before organizing volunteers to assemble the buckets, each containing first aid materials and other critical items designed to help save lives during a lockdown or emergency.
